Dermatology Clinic in Dubai
Dermatology is now an approved clinical specialty at Silk Clinics in Dubai Healthcare City. Skin, hair and scalp concerns are assessed by a DHA-licensed Specialist Dermatologist, who diagnoses the condition first and then builds a personalised plan — medical care, in-clinic treatment, or both.

Dermatology at Silk Clinics
Silk Clinics is a DHA-licensed medical clinic in Dubai Healthcare City. Adding Dermatology means patients can have their skin, hair or scalp concern diagnosed by a specialist before any treatment is chosen — rather than starting with a device or a package.
The dermatologist works alongside our aesthetic, laser and regenerative teams. When a procedure is the right next step, it is planned around the diagnosis; when it is not, you are told so.

- Acne that is persistent, painful or leaving marks or scars.
- Pigmentation or melasma that keeps returning.

Medical dermatology vs aesthetic dermatology
Medical dermatology diagnoses and manages conditions such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation disorders and hair loss. Aesthetic dermatology focuses on scarring, skin quality and signs of ageing. The two often overlap — active acne needs controlling before acne scars are treated, for example — so we look at both together.
Dermatologist-led treatment planning
Your plan is sequenced by the dermatologist: calming inflammation first, protecting against pigmentation in Dubai's strong sun, and only then adding procedures. Settings and products are chosen for your skin type, and progress is reviewed at follow-up so the plan can be adjusted.
